ATSENTI is a Canadian company incorporated in 1996. The company is well rooted in Saint-Hyacinthe Technopole, more specifically in the Saint-Hyacinthe Biotechnology City.
Innovation has always been the driving force of our company. In collaboration with government and university research centres, as well as private companies, ATSENTI is extremely proactive, conducting numerous research projects that focus on the development, improvement and optimisation of new technologies. Through our research, we continue to improve and optimize natural active ingredients in order to incorporate them in the composition of more effective health products. In this manner, ATSENTI contributes to the prevention of critical health problems, such as ageing, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, and the promotion of cardiovascular health, anticancer, and more.
As part of this research, our researchers developed an innovative procedure for which the government of Canada granted to ATSENTI an exclusive worldwide licence (# LIC-01185-326934) in 1997 for an extraction, isolation and purification process that is 100% natural, and preserves the complete integrity of the raw material: proanthocyanidin obtained from white pine bark. This was made possible through a research cooperation agreement with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
